Kristinn – vegetable glycerine is just unbelievable for giving great moisture (as it's a humectant). It's so inexpensive. Just mix a few drops with a little water (best way – wet hands, add a few drops then apply). Allow to soak into the skin and wow all the flaking and irritation (if you have any) is gone. Your routine is obviously working for you. You look great. Your skin is lifting (it's so noticeable) and yeah it's certainly working. These peachy colours are a marriage made in heaven for you. When you wear these colours, you glow! Beautiful! Jxx

Hey, Kristinn…  I see why you had so many requests to do this look (I just watched that video). The peach colors look very good on you!  And your skin looks fabulous!  I am going to try doing my exfoliation routine in the morning instead of before going to bed.  Makes sense to get rid of the flakes before the start of the day, rather than at the end of it!  Thanks for sharing your routine and products.  As I said, you look fabulous…they are definitely working!Lorna

Sweet Kristin – I've used your way of cleaning my face in the morning, and it really helps so I don't peel during the day anymore. Thanks for that great advice because it has really be driving me nuts with all the peeling during the day 😁

Good Morning MsKrintinn321, I have a similar tool. I have been using it at night before my Retinoid treatment. I'm using Tazorac now. I used to use RetinA but it really wasn't doing anything for me so I switched to Tazarotene and wow, what a difference! Oh I like that you showed that sunscreen, it is so thin. Much love for you xoxoxo Marta

I definitely agree about exfoliating in the morning to get rid of the flaky skin from Retin A. Another great exfoliating face wash is Skinmedica AHA/BHA. It costs somewhere around $35 and comes in a large squeeze tube. A little goes a long way, so it really lasts a long time.

What I do to avoid peeling, I mix a drop or two of good quality facial oil together with my retin-a. This method has been working really good for me. Less peeling and also apply a really good emolient moisturizer with SPF during the day. We definetly cannot give up on retin-a 🙂

Great look today! I enjoyed seeing your day time routine – look forward to a night time video as well. I'm needing a new Retin-A wondering what you use – might like to try something new. Going to get the Neutrogena sunscreen as well. I'm a new Subbie glad to have found your channel. Have a super week! xoxo Deb 🙂

This video is very timely Kristinn. I've been wanted to tweak my routine because my skin is so dry as well. I too use Retin A and my skin looks okay right after applying my makeup but in a few hours however, in a few hours my skin looks parched. I don't see too match flakiness other then around my mouth sometimes but I'm going to try and exfoliate in the morning as well. I usually just rinse my face with water and a mild cleanser. I think your jawline is looking better all the time Kristinn. Don't know what your using for lifting if anything but that area, I feel, has improved. Looking good.

I am NOT trying to sell anything to you. I'm 58 and have found great products at exceptional prices and thought I'd share. Have you heard of 'The Ordinary' rosehip oil or their Argan oil ? Their products are amazing and $10 for the rose and $7 for the Argan… If you do a little research on youtube about the 'Ordinary' products you'll see how amazing and inexpensive their products are compared to others. Have a good one and Peace out!

I just bumped up to the .1% after a year on the .05%. Its like starting all over again. I have to keep everything simple, Simple, SIMPLE, or I give myself a nasty chemical burn. I don't wash my face in the morning, I use Bioderma HydraBio on a Shisedo cotton pad, and then I spray my face generously with Mario Badusco cucumber and aloe spray. Then its all about oil. I use emu oil in the morning under my mineral sunscreen. Chemical sunscreen and retin-A don't like each other very much, chemical sunscreen will irritate the crap out of my skin. At night I take my face makeup off with extra virgin cold-pressed coconut oil, use the HydraBio for my eye makeup, use a small amount of SensiBio cleanser in the shower, and then once again douse my face in Mario Badusco spray, while its still damp. Then its squaline oil, followed by mhyrr oil. I let them sink in for about an hour, then its my retin-A, and an application of Beenigma cream right before I go to bed. If I go overboard with the retin-A and get redness and irritation I put a Farmacy honey salve on the area and it helps a lot. I figure retin-A is a harsh enough chemical on its own, I don't need any more actual chemicals on my face.

Hi Kristinn! Thank you! This was very informative. I use Retin-A and have no problem at all 9I've never peeled), but my daughter's skin has become extremely dry (plus she also has cystic acne). She's tried it all. I'm sending her your video and even though she's only 30, I think this may help her. I tried the Ole Henriksen Vitamin C serum, and I loved it. I need to get that one again because Timeless is just not wowing me anymore. You look beautiful in the peach/coral look! xo Marlene

Ahhh thank you so much for showing your sunscreen! I did not know that one existed and I'll only use a mineral sunscreen. I've been using the bare minerals one for about a year and I absolutely love it but it's $29. The way you describe this one it sounds exactly like the BM. I'll be so excited if this works for me like that one since it's so much cheaper. Plus I can use the ulta coupon too😉

I totally feel you about living the way retin a is making my skin look but no matter what and how long I'm using retin A I always flake. I've been using retin a 1% and I only use very little and mix it with my night time lotion which helps from peeling. I might flake but I don't peel like how I use to. I have been using it for a tad and it still flakes. I use an ABH or an BHA toner in the morning and exfoliate with that. It helps. If it's really dry I'll exfoliate a little bit harder or use my face razor to gently exfoliate
