You really have to like fruitcake to review it.  It may be an acquired taste. Love my monastery and also my Claxton fruitcakes. Buy them all year round.

Its the type of treat best served to people visiting from third world countries who might still believe that it tastes good.

I just ordered a pack of Claxton Fruit Cake on Walmart site just now. They have free shipping on everything today, even if its only $3.00 Thanks for the video.

I can only eat a small piece of fruit cake. The taste is too bitter for me after the first bite. I think a homemade fruit cake would taste a lot better.

I admire your cleanliness regarding the box touching the plate. Most people wouldn't think of that. I'd eat anything you'd make ☺️

Never have liked fruit cake. The look is one thing that turned me off of it and, like Tami, there is a flavor I don't like. I did taste some homemade fruit cake and still didn't like it. But good review anyway.

Getting a fruit cake for Christmas is the equivalent of getting a lump of coal in your stocking. lol

Odd that there wasn't a single spice used in that fruit cake (I was reading the package ingredients list at the end of your video). Typically, fruit cakes contain aromatic spices, such as cinnamon and nutmeg, and cloves, etc…

I love fruitcake! I'm the only one in my family that does so anytime anyone gets a fruitcake they give it to me but I agree with Kevin that a homemade fruitcake is the very best. It's so much better than store bought. Now there is a mail order company called Figis that makes homemade fruitcake cookies that are so so good, I order some every year.

That is is the face most people make when they try fruit cake. I'll buy a fruit cake for Christmas. Maybe a homemade taste better.

I never could like fruit cake!! Panettone tastes better than this crap. Funny story, every time my Grandma used to get these as a gift she used to use them as door stoppers.

homemade fruit cake taste so different! kevin is right, and I hate the store brand fruit cake it's horrible! But homemade is AMAZING. Yes it costs a lot of money to make, but if you can make it good it is worth every penny. and it is the best in the refrigerator! great video!!!
