I can’t guarantee that all of the make-up and skincare products I recommend will suit you. I only use products I personally think are good having tried them on myself and my clients but everyone’s skin is different and it’s possible to be allergic to anything. Wherever possible, test products out on yourself before purchasing.

I only feature products I like, or want to try. The products I use in these videos are either purchased by me or sent to me by make-up companies to use in my professional capacity as a make-up artist for fashion and celebrity photo shoots, red carpet etc. I am also sent products by many of the top magazines to judge for awards.

I do not accept payment and am not sponsored to make any of the films on this channel. Some of the links under the videos and blog posts on my site are affiliated however and as stated before, I only feature products I like, or want to try.

I realise this is quite an old video, however I've been scouring the internet for the mychelle serum – I've followed your link, but alas they no longer sell mychelle products! I'd like to give this to my mum for her birthday, could you help me in where i could buy it, whether it be on the internet or on the highstreet (I'm based in the UK)? Thank you xx

The lopsided face is definitely something I get, but not just when I'm pms'ing I get it on mornings where I've had too much sleep or slept on one side of my face (usually the right side too) and it's horrible and bloated. I usually just splash cold water over my face though which kind of reduces it, and putting on makeup when my face is like that I feel makes my face look worse.

Ooh perfect video at the right time (of the month) thank you Lisa. I shall have to start paying more attention to my face and see what it does. I'm not aware of my PMS face, but if it's anything like my actual PMS it will be different each time it arrives!!! From hardly any symptoms or cramps, to in pure agony & collapsing on the kitchen floor ugly crying for no real reason. I don't know how my partner Tim puts up with me, but everytime He's unflappable, calm & so loving. Ready with comfort, hugs, chocolate and hot water bottles. 😍

FUN FACT! Wait to do any hair removal (plucking, waxing, shaving ANY part of your body) at least 3-4 days AFTER your period is done!
When you're on your period, your estrogen and progesterone levels are very low, and you have more testosterone levels than you normally would (yes, biosex females have testosterone in their bodies too, just not as much as biosex males). The reason you feel pain so acutely on your period is because your progesterone level is lower. If you wait 3 to 4 days (or even up to 7) after your period has completely stopped, your hormone levels will be back up and hair removal won't only be less painful, it'll be a lot easier!

I have such a bad case of PMS face today. Thanks for the inspiration. I also get asymmetrical face when I am stressed or PMSing. Often a skilled massage seems to help put my face back in place (not even necessarily massaging the face, but it resets my nervous system). I'm glad I'm not the only one!! Love your videos Lisa!

This NARS concealer is turning pretty dry on my skin and the texture becomes like a powder and making lines directly under my eyes that normally no other concealer does. Wonder what is the reason for that. (Application of under eye cream before does not make any difference).

I find I get a mix between red/swollen and grey/tired. I make sure to have a shower every morning, drink plenty of water, and use eye drops. I can't wear makeup on my period either, it destroys my skin. I don't know if anyone else has that problem, but I'm sure it's pretty universal.

I had a health teacher that said "PMS isnt real and women just use it as an excuse to act up" hmm yes why dont you come back and say that again after you bleed for a week and feel like you're being stabbed in the abdomen with a ghost knife for hours. Say that again after you almost cry for literally no reason.

…last week, PMS hit me so bad that I realised all my "bursting into tears" moments were NOT real. they were PMS based (even though I had a lot of stress at my job) – this video tutorial is like an island of shelter – We're not alone. We're women. And we might have special needs sometimes. But that's alright. We deserve to treat ourselves in the best possible manner. Instead of feeling worthless and guilty. Spreading the love. Thank you, Lisa. (Even though this is 3 years old) x
