I just found your channel and I feel very lucky to find it, Dr. Dray. I love and use a lot of Hadalabo products. But, I heard Sana Nameraka's product is a very good Japanese brand as well. Could you please review their product?

Girl, bye. You lost me. I was trying you out bc I’ve heard about you on the internet, but I can’t understand for the life of me why you would recommend that to people… at least not without a warning that it could really cause breakouts and irritation!! Mineral Oil is the cheapest, lowest quality oil in the planet and it’s very well known to be problematic for a lot of people bc it clogs the pores and suffocates the skin. It’s also really hard to remove! So I don’t know how you are putting straight mineral oil on your face and cleaning it off easily with no residue. You are on this platform making that recommendation like it’s no problem whatsoever, which it might not be… FOR YOU. But a lot of people have problems with that ingredient and you should probably tell people of the risks and that they should proceed with caution depending on your skin type! Just bc it’s cheap, doesn’t mean it’s a good idea. And just bc it works for YOU and YOU don’t have issues, doesn’t mean your audience won’t… just seems a little callous and irresponsible.

I would love to hear your proffessional opinion on shea butter…there are sooo many out there! Is it a good body moisturizer? Is it a good face moisturizer? Also, hearing that there are tons of "fake" shea butters out there! what is the best brand to pursue?

Hi Dr. Dray! I’m looking for a good physical sunscreen to load up around my eye area (Inspired by your recommendation of the colorescience 3 in 1). I have photosensitive med-dark skin and am currently on accutane. Any recs for this? Moreover, im normally diligent with my sunscreen but am concerned that I have been so reliant on American chemical sunscreens. Do I not have to worry about this with physical sunscreens?

Lastly! I’d love a dupe video on the Colorscience 3 in 1! Do you have any thoughts on the Exuvience Age reverse eye contour (currently on sale at Ulta)?

My daughter is a swimmer. I don't know if you've covered anything with chlorine in a previous video but I would like to know what you would recommend her using to remove the chemicals from her skin and hair. She rinses before getting in the pool and immediately afterwards. She also uses Paul Mitchell's cleanse 3 in her hair to remove the chlorine from her hair. She is 11 and entering puberty and I want her to form good habits now. Thanks!

Hi Dr Dray, whatcha think about Cerave SA Lotion which has the AHA and BHA, exfoliating rough and bumpy skin. I so wanted to get it becuz I've got discoloration on my facial skin and my boy is 18 and he's having the teenager acne on his face. He has been incorporating the Cerave moisturizing cream in the tub and it's been helping him heaps cuz he's got that dry skin acne problems.

Ok I’m not sure if this is the right video to post my comment, but I’m going to do so anyways. The way you speak about products and it’s ingredients is very enlightening. I almost think you should do a collaboration video with some of the beauty gurus to educate them and their followers because they don’t always know what they are talking about when it comes to ingredients. Frequent times they would recommend not to use certain products because they have parabens, preservatives, alcohol etc in them. Do they really know what all those ingridients do? Nope. And most of us, who follow them, fall for their uneducated opinions, for lack of a better term.

A lot of My skincare favourite this year is from your recommendation!!! I am so glad that I found your channel a year ago. I started to wear sunscreen regularly now (I always forgot to put them on when I am rushing out the door in the morning, so I now just keep one in my purse and one in my office to reapplying. I highly recommend this approach to anyone out there struggling with applying sunscreen!) and I have noticed that I got less breakout since I started to wear sunscreen regularly! Thank you dr dray, we love you!

Hi Dr. Dray! I enjoy watching your videos and have started to switch to the products you recommend. I have a question about the hada labo cleansing oil. I checked the ingredients and it has olive oil in it, is that okay to use as a cleanser? The reason I ask is because you have mentioned in some of your videos that olive oil is not good to use on the skin.

You make it clear your a huge fan of the Hada Labo oil cleanser but you also say that the CeraVe and freederm cleansers work good at removing sunscreen. I'm looking for the best option for just sunscreen removal, no makeup. Would you go with your CeraVe, freederm, mineral oil or hada Labo cleansing oil? I value your opinion so much and hope for a response.

    Hello Doctor Dray,

Can the CeraVe cream in a tub lead to premature wrinkles?

Thank you for sharing your favorites! I finally switched from micellar water to mineral oil and my face is so soft! 😊 And it doesn't seem to exacerbate my acne. My overall redness seems to be less also, except for my cheeks which is strange, but still, an improvement. I wish I would've found you so much sooner!

Hi Dr. Dray! I'm from India and the soap free cleansers that I've purchased and used from the pharmacy are unable to remove the oil ( a mixture of castor, almond oil) that I use to remove make up. I inevitably end up using a soap containing facial cleanser. I'd love to use the Aveeno products but they are not easily available and Amazon charges thrice the price for ordering it. What is your opinion of the Sebamed cleansing bar ? Is it a good soap free cleanser? Seeing that it's in the form of a bar, I'm not quite sure if it's soap free.
I love your skin and I now reapply my sunscreen at least twice a day.
P.S. – If you don't mind me asking, how old are you? I aspire to get my skin as beautiful as yours.

Acne review suggestion (apologies if you’ve addressed this already or someone has already suggested it). Cleansers with silver (presumably colloidal) touted to help with acne because of antibacterial effect. One exceptionally high priced product called Cor has had some buzz but I noticed there are many other soaps containing silver at the natural foods store that are more affordable.

Happy New Year! I absoutley love your recommendations and I have completely changed (for the better!!) how I care for my skin thanks to you!

What do you think of these products to check out? LRP Effaclar H face wash (available on amazon because from the UK/EU) – it has ceramides, niacinamide and glycerin and is specifically formulated for acne prone skin that has been dryed out due to Tretenoin or other drying medications. It’s a cream cleanser and has been great for me.

I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Also on the lips I use Fresh Sport SPF 30 (face, eyes and lips) and it works great. Would love to know what you think!
Also- the combo of the Belif aqua bomb on wet skin followed with the LRP double repair moisturizer has made my skin really healthy looking. I’ve also been using the “FAB” skin moisturizer as an occlusive due to the additional ingredients of Shea butter and licorice root for a brightening effect.
