Why do they feel obligated to agree with what the white-skins say? White-skins say dark-skins not pretty so dark-skins also agree to it? I beg to differ. I enjoy interacting with humans regardless of skin colors. I personally think that what differentiates us is our cultural backgrounds and how we perceive the world.

I am not American so maybe it is just a huge awful cultural difference but in England we want to be darker, people go to extreme to become darker and even risking their health to do so! I am extremely pale, I get comments, my son is like myself and his dad is dark toned, I always get comments 'is he always this pale?', 'is he ill?', 'oh he needs to go outside and get some sun on him'!! I always thought that if I had this amazing darker tone that I would and be more prettier, more popular, more accepted and I would even cry about it and use all these awful fake tanning products to try and achieve 'my dream', I think people forget beauty standard is different in general all across the world, it isnt 'white washing', its a matter of fact and in England I think it would be rare to find a woman who has not used any tanning product or to lay out in the sun just become darker.

I want to add aswell that my sister inlaw is Filipino, she is very dark toned and even used whitening cream! She said I could become 'famous' for my skin tone, she hopes dearly that her child will be born lighter like my brother inlaw and yet he wants the baby to be dark toned because its viewed as 'exotic', I generally think and please correct me if I am wrong that these people have low self confidence and they believe it is due to their skin tone that is making them feel like this, Ive been there myself but you need to accept and just own it in the end, what people view as beauty is different from one another, its personal

Thank you for making such an interesting video. Everybody is beautifull the way he or she is and skin colour or gender doesn't change that. Be as you are 🌹 And I feel sorry that people still think about dark skin as being bad. I think people with a dark skin colour are just as beautifull ❤

to the people in the video and to those that feel that way about their skin color, you have to be your biggest fan because no one else will. society will drag you at times, be prejudice, or just hate you and the last thing you need is to make yourself feel that way.

I am a fair skinned Indian girl. I would have never cared if it wasn't for the other people around me who are not as fair, who suddenly come up to me and "compliment" me that I am fair. Growing up, I liked the compliments but now I realized that it is not even something to be complimented about. The melanin in my skin is nothing to think about because I have not attributed a single bit to it. It was inherited and no one should be judged by the Inherited values that a person cannot change. No matter what a person's colour complexion, It is high time that people are judged only on their choices and not on something they were born with.

I find this so ironic I'm Latina but I look white and even till this day I hate having pale skin. Always wanted to be at least 3 to 4 shades darker. I remember sitting in the sun and getting a scar on my skin from litetally burning myself trying to achieve at least something close to that Korean girl maybe even darker!😂😂😂😥😭😭😭

I have dark skin, but since I have good people in my life, I have been told that my skin colour is beautiful and that lot's of people want the same skin colour.

But sometimes it feels kinda weird being with friends that have lighter skin.

But there is a difference between dark skinned and tan. People who purposely make their dark and people who are naturally like that. But really people just need to stop looking at skin and look at heart cause this crap is crazy. 🙄

I love this series called "Scandal" because they break each and every stereotype about being black. A guy in my class was asked what he finds in an ideal woman and he said," light skin" and I was so offended. And he is a black guy brought up in black Africa.

I'm Mexican, I'm dark skinned and I've always been self conscious about my skin color. People have always said pale people are beautiful but dark skinned people can never be as pretty. Just the other day a girl in my class told another girl that guys prefer light skinned Latinas, not "morenas" ones and i felt so self conscious.
